SUMIALFA 5 EC is an insecticide from the group of synthetic pyrethroids with a broad spectrum of action.

First aid instructions and medical advice:
• If less than 2 ml/kg of body weight is ingested, do not induce vomiting.
• If the victim has spontaneous vomiting, place the head down to prevent the fluid from entering the lungs.
• If more than 2 ml/kg of body weight has been ingested and vomiting has not occurred, send the victim for medical assistance.
• If the product comes into contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water for more than 15 minutes while keeping the eyes open and seek medical help.
• If it comes into contact with the skin, immediately wash with water and soap. After drying, use a cream containing Vitamin E or oil. Apply oil or cream several times until relief is achieved.
• If breathing becomes difficult, move the victim to fresh air and send them to the doctor.
• There is no specific antidote. Symptomatic treatment is required.
Phytotoxicity:
When used at the recommended doses and concentrations, it does not show signs of phytotoxicity.
Impact on the ecosystem:
Toxic to bees and birds. Highly toxic to fish and aquatic organisms. Do not contaminate water sources with the product or its packaging. Avoid spreading the spray solution on water surfaces.
Withholding period:
For all crops, 21 days.
Storage:
The product should be stored in closed containers in dry and cool places, at temperatures between -5°C and 35°C. The product should not be stored in sunlight or humidity.
It is used on cereal plants, industrial plants, vegetables, vineyards, and fruit trees against:
Order of Lepidoptera: corn worms, tobacco worms, cotton bollworms, pink bollworms, apple worms, apple maggots, cabbage worms.
Order of Hemiptera: wheat aphids, cotton aphids, alfalfa aphids.
Order of Homoptera: snails, grasshoppers, and aphids.
Order of Orthoptera: locusts.
Order of Coleoptera: grain weevils, potato beetles, etc.
For controlling the California snail, it is used only when there is an infection on fruits.
In all cases, it is used at a concentration of 0.02-0.05%.
Caution: Do not enter the treated area without protective clothing and before the spraying solution has dried.
• Keep in safe places, away from children, human and animal food, and drinking water.
• Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work.
• Wear work clothes and protective equipment for eyes and face (gloves, goggles, face shield, etc.) while working.
• After work and before eating, wash your hands and exposed skin areas with water and soap.
• After finishing work, clean protective equipment and spraying tools.
• Dispose of packaging according to current regulations.
